So, there is a new “london” tattoo convention planned for the spring, (The Great British Tattoo show) brought to you by the same greedy corporate shite bags behind Tattoo Jam and Tattoo Freeze. Anyone who has been to THE London tattoo convention will know how special it is. The reason it’s so special is it’s arranged by people who love tattooing, not people who simply see an opportunity to exploit.

If you have any love for tattooing, or indeed any respect for any kind of subculture (because if they think there’s money to be made from your interests, they’ll be muscling their way into that next), don’t buy their magazines (Skindeep, Skinshots, Tattoo Master) and don’t attend their shows (Tattoo Jam, Tattoo Freeze, The Great British Tattoo show).

ARRG!

So I was clicking away thinking to myself, they’re doing pretty well here like. Then I looked at the score board and ARRG were getting pumped. So clearly, I have no clue what the fuck I’m looking at.

Still, Roller Derby now qualifies to the exclusive shortlist of sports related things that I find acceptable. It joins Pro-Wrestling and the 1970’s Philadelphia Flyers team. I also quite enjoy when Baseball fans do the chop. But I’m getting sidetracked here….
